After 11 Years of playing a hybrid of covers and originals in countless bars, bike rallies and clubs across the Southwestern United States. S.H.I recorded they're first EP "FIRSTFOUR" released March 17, 2013. Then two months later to the day on May 17, 2013, their full length effort appropriately named "11 YEAR ITCH" was released. Spanning over a decade S.H.I has opened for many touring and national acts including Dokken, L.A. Guns (both with and without Tracii Guns), Los Lonely Boys, Ron Keel, Bullet Boys, The Frank Hannon Band, Geoff Tate, Krash Karma, The Chimpz, and more.
S.H.I has held the spotlight as one of New Mexico's best Rock groups since 2001 and still plays to crowds at Albuquerque's Premiere Rock Clubs as well as several events and venues throughout the great Southwestern United States. Crowned the house band at the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally Ignacio, CO and also co headlined the Fire and Ice Bike Rally for the third time. They are no strangers to the stage and know how to work a crowd.
Nominated in 2014 winning the New Mexico Music Awards Best Metal Song for "BLACK WIDOW". Aug 2017, S.H.I officially released "Fall Away" nominated Best Metal Song new Mexico Music Awards 2018. The boys have finished their second album recorded in Fair Hills, CA in April of 2019. A seven song EP scheduled for release December 26, 2019.
Digital download available now, hardcopies available Feb 2020 at the TBA Cd release party.
If any group deserves the title, "Party Band", it would undoubtedly be "S.H.I" With the energy these 4 souls release in a 45 minute set they could quite possibly supply power to a small city........ Definitely check out these Bad Boys of Burque!
